So I had a gig on Wednesday night. It was a solo gig which was fun. two of my best girlfriends came down to see me. we went to the club afterhours and had a dance - they had hula hoops there so we schooled the drunk bitches lol :)

first post
so i have navigated the blogger set up and fended of my cat as he attempted to sleep on he keyboard and i can now write my first blog post ever! so here is a bit about me, and the why/what-to-expect from this blog.
I am an atypical 24 year old living on the east coast of Canada (represent!) and I am currently mired in a masters degree in functional genomics (dont ask, unless you are a fellow sufferer/survivor), and I am very interested in fish; I wanted to be a marine biologist since I was 3 and saw The Little Mermaid. I love love love books. I am a musician and artist; I direct a choir, sing, play guitar and flute, and I paint. I have two cats, Munch and Dude, that I treat like people.
I have a best friend! this is a big deal for me. C is the best thing since sliced bread. She is independent, dependable, and just the right amount of bitch. She never lets anything bring her down and she always says no to drama! We love to laugh, listen to tunes, bitch about men, and we always alway always own the dance floor, weather we are smashed hammered drunk or sober as judges.
I decided to write this blog because I Have Opinions. I Have Interests. And now, I Have A Soapbox. I will be writing about nature/science/god, music/art/literature/fashion, and good times/bad times. and, also, whatever else I want :)
